Getting Started
Policote is a pickup and delivery cleaning service. We come to your door, collect your laundry, dry cleaning, or rugs, clean everything professionally, and deliver it back, all without you needing to leave home.
We currently operate in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We're expanding to new areas, drop your email on our homepage to be notified when we launch near you.
Yes. You'll need a Policote account to schedule pickups and track your orders. Sign up is free and takes under 2 minutes.
For Wash & Fold, the minimum is 10 lbs. Dry cleaning and rug cleaning have no minimum, one item is fine.
Pickup & Delivery
When you book, you choose a 2-hour window (e.g. 10am–12pm). Your driver will arrive sometime within that window. We'll text you 30 minutes before they arrive so you're never caught off guard.
You can leave your items outside in a bag with a note at checkout. We'll collect them and send you a notification when picked up. If you're not comfortable leaving items unattended, you can reschedule up to 1 hour before your window.
Yes, if slots are available. You'll see availability when you go to book. Same-day pickups are subject to driver availability in your area.
Standard turnaround is 48 hours from pickup to delivery. We'll keep you updated by text and in your account throughout the process.
Pickup and delivery is $10 flat per order, regardless of how many items. Members on our Regular or Business plan get free delivery (coming soon).
Yes. Once your driver is dispatched, you can see their live location in your account.
Pricing & Payment
Never before you approve your quote. After pickup, we count and inspect every item and send you a full itemised quote in your account. You review it, approve it, and only then do we charge your card.
Yes. Before approving, you can remove any item from the quote. We'll return unprocessed items with your next delivery.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
No. The price on your quote is exactly what you pay. Delivery is $10 per order (shown separately on your quote). No setup fees, no cancellation fees.
Wash & Fold is $2.50 per pound. After pickup, we weigh your items and include the total on your quote before charging anything.
Rug cleaning is $3.57 per square foot. We measure your rug after pickup and include the price on your quote.
Orders & Tracking
Sign in and open your active order. You'll see a real-time status timeline: Picked Up → Being Cleaned → Quote Ready → Out for Delivery → Delivered.

Every item is photographed at intake. If anything is damaged or missing, contact us immediately through your account or our contact form. We have a full record and a clear resolution process. We stand behind every order.
No, once your driver has collected your order, we can't add to it. You'll need to schedule a new pickup for additional items.
Rug Cleaning
We clean area rugs, runners, Persian and oriental rugs, wool, synthetic, cotton, and most specialty materials. If you're unsure whether we can clean yours, contact us before booking.
We can handle most standard-sized rugs. For very large rugs (over 10×14 ft), contact us in advance so we can arrange the right vehicle and team.
Your rug is professionally rolled and wrapped in protective covering before delivery. We'll help you lay it back down if needed.
We offer specialist pet stain and odour treatment as an add-on. Note this at checkout when booking and we'll include it in your quote.
Account
Go to your Profile in your account, tap Addresses, and add or edit your saved addresses.
Yes. You can save multiple addresses under your account and choose which one to use when booking.
Open your active booking in your account and tap Reschedule or Cancel. You can do this up to 1 hour before your pickup window starts.
Contact us at hello@policote.com with your account email and we'll process the deletion within 5 business days.
